Available Now! A density altitude study expanding upon pilot participant's zero-rate concerns with ratio-level measurements and graphs.
Pilots must be provided explanations, predictions, factors of safety and control for high density altitude environments. Anytime a higher than standard temperature exists at a departure airport, improper planning or a lack of knowledge may lead to a fatal outcome.
Attempting takeoff without a thorough knowledge and understanding of high density altitude takeoff parameters are known to be contributing factors in general aviation takeoff accidents. A field study was conducted to reveal cultural differences among the general aviation community, air carrier and on demand operators.
Takeoff distance, acceleration, velocity and time can be presented as a function of aircraft weight and provide a practical basis for Other Reliable Information. Participants provide an unintended and unanticipated zero-rate condition encountered in an aviation operation. But for the necessity of statistical reporting at the nominal, ordinal, interval & ratio levels ("NOIR"); runwaydata.com LLC has successfully registered statisticalnoir.com ©, staticnoir.com © & dynamicnoir.com © as "dot-com" media for providing qualitative & quantitative descriptive & inferential details as necessary.
The word "noir," prounounced with a soft "r" as in "nwar" or "nwah" is the French word for the color black. This is an auspicious term because we like things to be clear (in black & white, for example). In furtherance, a copyright or trademark infringement will be met by "black-letter" law, or strict liability derived from statute. The finders (or trier's) of fact will determine whether contract, tort negligence or even criminal law will be controlling.
The trademark of runwaydata.com LLC is a bird prepared to take flight. This logo has a general meaning. The base of the bird has two curved lines; one suggesting acceleration and the other, a contemplated distance. Since the symbol ® has a specific meaning, the following will serve as notice of federal statutory trademark notice. But for the symbol ®, the runwaydata.com trademark means specifically, "registered U.S. Patent & Trademark Office."
The wings have four curved data plot layers. Each dot is an independent variable linked to "time." Since there are four layered data plot segments comprising the wing, the bottom set represents nominally "categorized/named" data. The next segment up are ordinal qualitative "rankings" made by the responsible pilot. The very next wing layer up represents a quantitative numerically "even" interval for comparative (or contributory) analysis (or application).
Finally, the highest level wing segment or "top event" are the data points at the highest "ratio" level. Ratio "true-zero" reporting always retain qualities of each of the preceding "wing" segments (nominal, ordinal & interval). Here, the acronym "NOIR" is purposeful because "ratio level" reporting captures all elements with a "true-zero" clearly depicted or evident.
Since the runwaydata.com logo® is a registered trademark, this logo adequately purports to a "System Model Integrating Time & (density altitude) Height" © where cause & effect inferences can be correlated to a specific density altitude. The memory aid/mnemonic "SMITH," is a self-patronizing, but "nominally" fortuitous name because it captures elements of this critical flying safety issue.

Your aircraft may be takeoff weight limited by runway length, climb gradient or structural weight. Graphics contribute to overall pilot understanding and enhance takeoff safety. The General Aviation pilot-in-command has access to performance details that were once confined to commercial operators.
Safety is acquired through the process of planning and preparation.
United Kingdom Pilots www.booksunlimited.ie/ planning your "hour building" in the United States should become familiar with high altitude and high temperature pairing conflictions that occur in the higher elevations of the Western US as well as the American east coast Appalachian Mountain range.
Mr. Smith used references approved by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) such as "Mechanics of Flight, 10th Ed.," by Air Commodore Kermode, RAF (revision by R H Barnard & D R Philpott). Mr. Smith is previously associated with the NAC Ground School in Naples, Florida where President Nikki Gentil & Chief Instructor Paul Winner (Master Warrant Officer, RAF Retired) provide dedicated leadership & direction to the flight & ground instructor staff (FAA & CAA/JAAT/EASA approved).
NAC, Inc., contributes greatly to european community pilot education from this south Florida gulf coast location. The instructor staff includes one pilot with an airline & military background, two corporate pilots & a naval flight officer/navigator. With 14 theoretical subjects, this level of expertise is essential. Mr. La Pierre is fluent in spanish if you would like to converse with him.

Runwaydata.org. exists to support the UK ATPL weekend groundschool organized under runwaydata.net. The weekend seminar provides education with respect to the United Kingdom ATPL "G" Conversion. The FAA (or Canadian) ATP certificate or license can be converted to a United Kingdom "G" license if certain requirements are met. Select the link above for more information.
Runwaydata.com visitors may wish to take advantage of the free mathematics PowerPoint tutorial that is relevant to my book and European Community Pilot License requirements. ICAO ATP Certificates & Licenses (FAA included) can be converted by way of passing two theoretical written tests. The tested subjects are Air Law (& ATC Procedures) and Human Performance & Limitations (HPL).

Never before has the General Aviation Pilot been presented fully developed and professionally interpreted takeoff data. Since I lived and worked in Germany in the past, I am glad to be published by VDM Dr. Mueller AG (Berlin & Saarbrueken). I am sensitive to the idea of being "published" because I lived in Mainz, Germany. This is the location of the Guttenburg Press, Guttenburg University and the Institute Francaise de Mayence (Mainz en francais: "Mayence") where the very first Greek Translation of Hebrew Text was printed in Latin. This was made possible by the invention of the Guttenburg Press in Germany. Historically, the printed family bible has its origin here. This is rather complicated, SO IS DENSITY ALTITUDE!
The nearest version of Mainz in the United States is probably Hermann, Missouri (very first kindergarten in the USA!). In Hermann, the Missouri river flows beautifully like the Rhein "fluss" amidst rolling hills and rock formations similar to the German "Taunus" & "Lorelei" regions. I had a great salad "mit jogurt dressing!" German-American celebrations occur year around "mit gemutlicheit" where all are welcome. Hier, man kann dunkel alt, pilz und hefeweizen (beers) finden!
Many of you know, Missouri is the "gateway to the west." We can infer, the west is the gateway to high density altitudes! Anyone contemplating "hour building," sight-seeing or any other high density altitude flying activity should consult with a FAA Certified Flight Instructor with experience in this environment.
Runwaydata.com formats invite each pilot to discover for themselves the utility for applying comparative cause and effect performance analysis. Pilot control and safety require qualitative & quantitative explanations and predictions that are allied with your own preflight "control" elements.
Our data formats are designed for full integration with your weather analysis, pre-planning and flight planning tasks. Our data invites investigation and inquiry by identifying performance elements that sustain a professional go/no-go decision.
You can order this book (Publisher VDM Verlag Dr. Mueller, Saarbruecken) under any search engine by entering ISBN: 978-3-8364-8343-8 or "Aircraft Performance Explanation for Takeoff from a High Altitude Airport."
PriceGrabber.com [UKMexicoBrazilFranceGermany US English US Spanish] You, your family, friends and colleagues are worth "Other Reliable Information." At runwaydata.com, we believe Performance = Control©. Das bedeutet (that means) Flugzeugleistung = Flugsicherung ("flight performance equals flying safety")! I wish you "guten flug" and safe flying! Please continue & read on,...
